White marks on your teeth are most commonly the result of fluorosis, which is hypo-mineralization within the enamel. Hypo-Calcification causing white spots is also common when your teeth have lost some important minerals over time.

Because the aim of teeth whitening is to uniformly whiten the colour of teeth, any white spots will naturally become brighter and even more noticeable directly after using the HiSmile Teeth Whitening Kit. This will fade over time however the Kit is unable to blend the white spots to the rest of your teeth.
